A busy and sad week

Only two months into 2016 and yet it feels a much longer time than that. Maybe it is was the leap year and that 29th February that wore us out.

The time has been busy with two audits completed and several reports on funding programs for the 2015 year.

Reflections on Origins of Life

 

Just another day at the office was proceeding. I was distracted with our financial plight, (KES 34,000 / $US 350 in our bank account), but desiring to think about something else, I got into planning the upcoming week -end retreat with key staff on STORY. Of course the beginning takes me back 13.7 billion years and the great flaring forth of life with the big bang.   Now away from my small world, I felt immediate relief.

My typical day in the office

Year 2016 has begun at a cracking pace. There seems to be endless reports to donors to tidy up and all too close deadlines for them.  All the while, the now has to be managed and with it planning for the year ahead.  Here is a bit of that……..
