Opening Day 2020

Ruben Centre opened on 3rd of January but activities officially resumed on the 6th. This is after almost two weeks of Christmas & New Year’s holiday. The organization was buzzing in every corner and it was a delight.

The school started with an assembly where praise was granted to the Lord for the reunion. The students and teachers then proceeded for a general cleaning of their classes. The radio was full of life and excitement as most of the presenters were back on air to feed their hungry listeners. The administration block was busy as always with different planning of the year going on. Even the briquette making plant was off and firing, making fuel to cook food for the over two thousand and seven kids and the staff of Ruben Centre. Partners of Ruben Centre also sat in groups and discussed their various strategies of the year.

At the baby care, we had several children going up the ladder and advancing to their first level of formal education. The postnatal clinic was also not safe as an army of mothers with their babies flooded the facility.

All in all it was a good start of the year with the right energy right from the director’s desk. We wish each and every person a prosperous and successful year, once again.
