Celebrating Ubuntu and Looking Ahead: Ruben Centre’s September Meeting Highlights

On 26th September, Ruben Centre held its monthly staff meeting, led by Director Br. Frank O'Shea, focusing on the African philosophy of Ubuntu – "humanity towards others." Br. Frank emphasized that true leadership brings out the best in others and is rooted in justice, moral courage, and peace. He reminded the team that everyone leads at different times in life, and effective leadership inspires collective growth.

A key topic was the upcoming 2025 Silver Jubilee celebration, marking 25 years since the Christian Brothers took charge of Ruben Centre. Br. Frank encouraged staff to brainstorm ideas to commemorate this milestone, reflecting on the Centre’s impact over the last quarter-century.
