On October 5, 2024, AEF Ruben Primary & Junior Secondary School had the honor of hosting a historic visit from Her Excellency Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of Kenya, and Her Excellency Tamara Vučić, the First Lady of Serbia. Accompanying them were the Principal Secretary of Education, Dr. Belio Kipsang, the Principal Secretary of ICT, John Tanui, and Attorney General Dorcas Oduor. Nairobi Governor Sakaja Arthur Johnson was represented by Suzanne Silantoi, the County Executive Committee Member for Health, Wellness & Nutrition and accompanied by Chief Officer in charge of Public Participation, Citizen Engagement & Customer Service Ms. Zipporah Mwangi.
